Firefighters have rushed to a block of flats in  Southwark South East London (Sunday)  following reports a fire with persons being unaccounted for within the property.

A number of fire crews and officers have been called to Geoffrey House on Pardoner’s Street after a resident raised the alarm at around 11.30pm.

Police initially responded to the incident but have now stood down,
