One driver ran off leaving another driver trapped after a two-car collision on Leysdown Road around 9pm on Sunday evening.
A police search helicopter was called in to search the area along with officers conducting a ground search with a dog.
The collision head on collision between a BMW and Nissan happened near Burden Brothers.
Kent Police have been approached for comment
